Torrie Wilson

Torrie Anne Wilson (born July 24, 1975) is an American former professional wrestler and model. Wilson is most well-known for her work with World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly called the World Wrestling Federation. She was also model and Miss Galaxy competitor in 1999. After her win, she was hired by World Championship Wrestling. She remained with the organization between 1999 and 2000. [2][7][8] Her 2001 appearances on World Wrestling Federation television were part of The Invasion (a WCW storyline that was later referred to as the WWF). The most famous storylines were in 2002, where she was battling Dawn Marie. [5][9] In 2003, she teamed up together with Sable. Wilson was also part of Vince's Devils stable which was exclusively female. In 2002, Wilson faced Dawn Marie. In 2003, she fought and 2003 with Sable. Wilson began her wrestling career in 1999, when she went to an event called the World Championship Wrestling show. After a backstage visit the show, she was invited to go to the ring with Scott Steiner. Seven minutes later, Kevin Nash expressed an desire to write an episode with her. [5][7][9] Her first appearance was on the episode of Nitro 8 on February 8, 1999 (later changed her name to "Samantha") It was revealed in the episode's storyline, that Wilson was brought in by the New World Order (nWo) to lure David Flair into turning against his father, Ric Flair. In February, [5][14], Wilson slapped Ric at SuperBrawl IX, David attacked the wrestler with a taser. 15 days after Ric was awarded the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from Hollywood Hogan at Uncensored inside an Barbed Wire Steel Cage match, David and Wilson took the time off from WCW television in April prior to returning in May to take David to the ring for matches. Wilson was Flair's valet in the 1999 Bash at the Beach. He was able to defend the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship from Dean Malenko.
