Sundar Pichai

Sundar PichaiPichai Sundararajan better known as Sundar Picha, is an Indian-American business executive. He is the chief executive officer (CEO) of Alphabet Inc. and its subsidiary Google.Born in Madurai in India,[4] Pichai obtained his degree from IIT Kharagpur in metallurgical engineering. After making the move to the United States, Pichai earned an M.S. When he moved to the United States, he earned an M.S. in materials science and engineering from Stanford University. Following a brief stint at McKinsey and Co. as a management consultant Pichai was hired by Google in 2004 to head the innovation and management of products for various Google's client products. They comprised ChromeOS as well as ChromeOS. He also managed Google Drive. Additionally Pichai went on to supervise the development of various other applications like Gmail and Google Maps. In the year 2010, Pichai also revealed the open-sourcing for the new codec for video VP8 by Google and unveiled the new format for video, WebM. 2012 saw the introduction of Chromebook. In 2013, Pichai added Android to the list of Google products that he oversaw.
